The main components of graphite crucible are natural flake graphite and binder. Therefore, it has the advantages of fast thermal conductivity, high temperature resistance, good thermal stability, and does not react with the melt. It is a non-ferrous metal melting and casting device. However, it is very easy to oxidize when used in high temperature and strong oxidizing atmosphere. Therefore, strong oxidizing atmosphere should be avoided when providing different heat sources, otherwise its service life will be reduced. However, with the development of production technology, some graphite crucibles currently have multiple layers of special glaze layers on the surface, which can prevent graphite from oxidizing and enhance the corrosion resistance of the crucible.
