Application

1.Metallurgical field: Electric arc furnaces for steel production are the major users of graphite electrodes. In electric arc furnaces, current is introduced into the furnace through graphite electrodes, and the high-temperature heat source generated by the electric arc between the electrode tip and the furnace materials is utilized for smelting.

2.Chemical industry: The electric arc furnace is mainly used for the production of industrial silicon and yellow phosphorus, etc. Its characteristic is that the lower part of the conductive electrode is buried in the furnace material, forming an electric arc within the material layer, and using the heat energy emitted by the material's own resistance to heat the material.
